A challenging card game with relatively simple rules. Your hand cards serve as both buildings and currency. Each round, you build one building (and sometimes two buildings) from your hand and pay the costs with other cards. Each building generates income in the form of cards and/or points. Slowly but surely, a city will emerge for you. Many buildings interact with each other or are a prerequisite for building others. This creates interesting choices and chain reactions. Whoever has scored the most points with their buildings at the end of the game wins. Metropolis only takes 20 minutes to play, making it ideal for in-game play.
