The Hale pet door is specifically designed for glass doors, offering a space-saving alternative to traditional panel pet doors. To Complete your order, you will fill out a short electronic questionnaire (link on your order confirmation email) and need to  know the following before we can begin building your pet door:

• Single pane glass must be no more than 3/16" thick and comes with only one flap
• Double pane glass (single pane over 3/16" thick) has your choice of 1 or 2 flaps
• Glass thickness is needed, should not be an estimate, because this will determine if your installation needs build outs or comp strips
• Type of door being installed in (if sliding glass door, will need to know if the slider, slides inside or outside the fixed, non-operational panel)

Glazier Required for Installation: Because existing tempered glass cannot be cut, this application requires replacing the entire pane of glass. Glass cutting, tempering, and installing a dog door in a glass door require a glass professional. It is always best to have the pet door in hand before ordering the glass so that you have the exact dimensions needed.
