How do I properly seal these Mylar bags for long-term storage? − For the best results, place your freeze-dried food inside, add an appropriate-sized oxygen absorber, press out as much air as possible, seal the zip closure, and then use a hot iron or an impulse sealer on the area above the zipper for a permanent, airtight seal.
