The premium cotton hand reads brushed-soft and dense-springy underfoot, and the raised-pattern medallion catches light in low-angle morning and evening hours — the rug looks sculptural in raking light. The mid-gray ground is true neutral: it doesn't lean blue, doesn't lean brown, and so it pairs with virtually any wood floor and any upholstery palette without negotiation.

The most floor-agnostic SKU in the line — works on pale white-oak, mid-walnut, dark espresso, ash, and bleached pine. Upholstery: navy velvet for contrast, cream linen for continuity, mustard or terracotta for warm tension, charcoal for tone-on-tone. Mixed-metal hardware (brass + nickel) reads particularly well against the neutral ground. Strong in open-plan living-dining rooms where the rug needs to negotiate two zones at once.

Not machine-washable. Vacuum weekly without beater bar; the neutral gray hides minor wear and pet hair well but shows red wine and coffee — blot spills with cool water immediately. Professional clean every 18 months.

The most pet-friendly palette in the collection. Mid-gray hides dog hair, pet fur, and everyday dust better than any other color in the line. Cotton is genuinely softer than wool for bare feet and play time, and the raised pattern keeps the rug visually interesting without trapping crumbs in the way a deep-pile wool would.
