Mid 19th Century Scarce Ring Hammer Danish Military Pistol

Featuring the characteristic Danish ring hammer, this is quite a scarce item.  

Full stocked with a swivel ramrod, brass furniture and the sighted barrel stamped AB 2 12 11 B No60.  Having not come across one before my knowledge on these pistols is very limited, so I have no idea of the stamps meaning.

The metalwork is in nice condition, with no pitting and overall (brass and steel) has a pleasant aged patina.

The lockpate is stamped L and the action is crisp in half and full position.

There is a good repair to the forestock on both sides by the ramrod, and a split on one side by the barrel tang.

A bit like the Loch Ness Monster, this one is a scarce big beast!

Barrel length 27cm, overall length 45cm.
