The Cane Detection Door Guard Barrier is designed to improve accessibility and enhance safety for the visually impaired by providing a physical guide at building entrances. Installed at doorways and access points, these barriers help individuals using canes to locate entrances more easily, reducing the risk of accidents in public spaces and commercial premises.

Each unit is constructed from high-quality 304-grade stainless steel, offering a durable, corrosion-resistant finish suitable for most non-coastal environments. The integral tapping bar, positioned 150mm above ground after installation, provides a clear physical prompt to assist with navigation.

The barrier is designed for permanent installation using a sub-surface mounting method—simply cast into concrete for a secure and long-lasting fit. For a bolt-down version, a surface-mounted alternative is also available.

Each cane barrier is supplied as a single unit—most standard doorways will require two units. Ensure the correct quantity is ordered to meet the requirements of your project.
