Entire wars are fought over our perceived differences. Instead, our efforts should be spent in rediscovering the ordinary things we have in common--parenting our children, finding the sustenance to survive, the leisure to study,  the harmony to thrive. Instead of cacophony, we need stillness to communicate meaningfully, to forge alliances, to search for and find beauty in our everyday lives. Stillness is the goal and when you get there, when the stillness comes, you reopen your eyes, and ordinary moments have turned beautiful, ordinary things the subject of interest and discovery. Moments become music, your immediate environments a manifestation of God's great unceasing love and the harmony of His creation.
