This little vase is just big enough for a few stems (a couple of sprigs of red berries would be perfect in it right now), but it's really a lovely one, which someone put a lot of care into. The body is densely decorated all over with pressed patterns, kind of like hatch marks but also a bit evoking Asian characters, adding to its Japanese feel.  The glaze on the body reads a deep green-blue-black, then shows drippy brighter blue on the neck and interior of the lip. Lovely.

3 3/8" t x 2" d; 1 7/16" across at lip. Great condition, initialed A.L on bottom, and I believe '04 for 2004.
