Or did you just find some cool leather that you'd like to have an amazing custom watch strap made from?  I can turn many of your old leather goods (and sometimes canvas, too) into a custom strap that will preserve the character of your item while bringing it an entirely new lifetime of usefulness on your wrist.

Details: To make a strap I need two strips of clean, contiguous leather each with the dimensions of 12" (305mm) long and 1.25" (32mm) wide, ideally 2mm thick but if it's thicker I can usually thin it down. If it's thin sometimes I can still use it, but often leather that's very thin isn't suitable for straps.

If I provide a backing leather for the strap it reduces the amount of leather needed; I would then need one strip of leather 10" (255mm) long by 1.25" (32mm) wide and another strip of leather 6" (153mm) long by 1.25" (32mm) wide, again with both pieces of leather being clean and contiguous.

These measurements assume a maximum completed strap length of 135/85, if the strap needs to be longer the amount of leather needed will also need to be longer.
