Our small batch Whiskey Barrel Aged Wildflower honey is a beautiful marriage between local Saratoga Wildflower Honey and a rye whiskey barrel. The honey spends 6+ months resting in a first fill rye whiskey barrel from our friends at Yankee Distilling and then bottled. This is a New York made Barrel, filled with New York whiskey made from New York grain, and then refilled with New York Honey!  Yankee Distillery then uses this honey coated barrel to create another beautiful product, Honey Whiskey.

The depth that this honey develops as it sits in the charred barrel needs to be experienced to fully comprehend. Enjoy this 12oz jar with nuances of spice, oak, and vanilla playing off of the florality of the wildflower. 

Using Your Whiskey Honey at Home

But cocktails aside, this Whiskey Honey is one of our favorite additions to charcuterie boards for its bright but deep flavor profile. Pairing well with just about any cheese and meat combination you can dream of, you're sure to wow at the next cocktail hour with this special, limited release honey. 

We also highly recommend this honey paired with smokey Lapsang Souchong for a cozy cuppa that will definitely brace you for fall hikes or hitting the slopes.
