Prince ginseng, Chinese medicine name. It is a dried tuber root of caryophylla family plant. 

 It has the effect of nourishing qi and spleen, promoting fluid and moistening lung. Often used for spleen deficiency body fatigue, lack of appetite, weakness after illness, insufficient qi Yin, thirst from sweating day, dry lung cough.
