Always test a small area first. The wallpaper remover should penetrate the adhesive. After 20 minutes, check if it has penetrated. If it has, you can apply the remaining wallpaper to the surface. If not, check if the top layer can be removed. First, peel the top layer off the bottom layer. The bottom layer can be removed later with the wallpaper remover. If the wallpaper cannot be removed, apply a second coat. If the wallpaper remover does not penetrate, lightly sand the surface. Let the remover work for 20 minutes. Peel the wallpaper from the wall from top to bottom, removing all remaining wallpaper.

Remove the adhesive residue from the wall with a scraper or putty knife.
