AtlasIED 76-8E2 8-Inch Mounting Ring for 16-Inch or 24-Inch Studs

The AtlasIED 76-8E2 is a versatile 8-inch mounting ring designed for new construction drywall applications. It facilitates the installation of screw-mount baffles for 8" loudspeakers and 95 series enclosures, ensuring secure and reliable ceiling speaker installations. Constructed from 20-gauge cold-rolled steel (CRS) with a textured black epoxy finish, this mounting ring is built to withstand various ceiling constructions, including drywall, plaster, conventional, stud ceiling, and retrofit applications.

Featuring mounting ears that accommodate 16" or 24" on-center stud spacing, the 76-8E2 simplifies the installation process. It includes four 8-32 J-nuts for secure attachment of compatible baffles and enclosures. This mounting ring is compatible with a range of AtlasIED baffles, such as models 51-8, 60-8(W), 61-8W, 62-8(W), 63-8, 170-8, VP-60R, M222(W), and P900, provided the T-nuts are removed from the enclosures. With a depth of 7/16" and a diameter of 11 7/8", it offers a compact yet sturdy solution for ceiling speaker installations.
