He published this sixth edition with Hurst & Blackett Ltd in 1903 .

There are chapters on lameness., blood, wounds, immunity, skin diseases, tumours, feet, bones, herniae, fractures, cysts, eyes, the organs of breathing, internal parasites, the digestive canal, urinary organs, general diseases, the liver, nervous diseases, poisoning, nursing, medicines, operations, soundness, shoeing & examination of the mouth for age

It is in fair condition, with light foxing throughout, a previous owner's name inside the cover and wear to the edges and corners of the cover. A previous owner has underlined various sections
