Perfumer’s Inspiration:
"Ambre Russe, is for me the Russia of the last tsars. A baroque and sumptuous world, studded with gold spheres. A world of excess reflected by intoxicating and sparkling Russian parties, glittering with embroideries, fur-lined cloaks and spectacular dress uniforms. I conceived Ambre Russe as an opulent elixir, that opens with festive notes - of Imperial Champagne and icy vodka. I then wanted to find the Slavic soul with a Russian-style tea blend, wafting out of the samovars. Incense swirling from the Orthodox church. The mythical Russian leather of the officers' riding boots, and of course, the opulence of natural ambergris, reserved for the greats of the time - which constitutes the backbone of this perfume.
