The nautical artwork comes from an 1880’s children’s travel book, and features a charming sailing ship, breezy banners, and a radiant sun. The lovely little mermaid comes from a 1905 print entitled “The Looking Glass of Venus” by Sir Edward Burne-Jones. We trimmed the underneath in hand drawn nautilus and scallop shells from a French 1800’s sketchbook. We absolutely love the happy, vacation vibes of this piece! 100% bamboo/wood viscose. Non-stretch.
