German Navy jackboots, with a new and different sole! These sturdy boots appear to have a new sole, but the boot exterior is also very nice - nearly new with just marks from storage. So why the different sole? Was there a Navy boot sole shortage? Was there a need for this particular tread? We can't tell, but they are nice hardy boots nonetheless, just fitted with a more casual sole.
An iconic design, first originating from the German Army during WWI, known as a Marschstiefel (Marching Boot). These late model boots mostly stay true to the first iterations, the main difference being the soles are modern man made materials rather than hobnailed leather.
In terms of construction, the boots are made from pebbled leather and have a rubber sole. The legging is 12 inches long which provides protection half-way up the calf. Pull tabs at the top allow quick and easy donning of the boots and adjustable buckle straps for a firm fit. Keep those lower limbs from abrasions and kick it with some jackboots.
