VICTORIA AND ALBERT MUSEUM BROTHER RABBIT LARGE COIR DOORMAT
Part of group: Victoria and Albert Museum Brother Rabbit Coir Doormat
This cute pair of rabbits hidden in vegetation is a motif taken from a furnishing textile by William Morris, held in the V&A’s archives. Designed between 1881 and 1882, Brother or Brer Rabbit shows a dense pattern of paired animals and fantastic foliage, illustrating Morris’ interest in medieval European textiles which he studied at the V&A. All doormats in Entryways’ V&A Collection are available in two sizes––18″ by 30″ and 24″ by 36″. Every Entryways mat is designed and crafted to be stylish and functional. Made from the best quality all-natural coir to meet the industry’s highest standards of durability, Entryways doormats are hand-stenciled with eco-friendly dyes for long-lasting vibrancy.
