This is an absolutely superb Victorian Albert chain crafted from pinchbeck (not gold).
Featuring some incredible, and rather unusual fancy links, it comes with 2 dog clips and a T-bar. The chain and dog clip is marked for its maker: M & C
Measuring 16 inches long, with a width of just under 8mm, this chain weighs 42.85g
This luxurious antique classic offers so many style possibilities. Its the ultimate statement piece and its versitility means it can be worn day or night, on its own or stacked with other chains, and with or without charms added to its dog clip. Its the ultimate addition to any jewellery collection.
This chain is mid-victorian and does show some signs of wear in the form of tarnishing on some of the links and T bar, but given the chain's age, and the fact it is not gold, I would say its in remarkable condition!
Please have a look at the pictures and video and dont hesitate to get in touch if need any further information.
