A&E SPECIFICATIONS

The recessed backbox for 8 inch speakers shall be Lowell Model No. CP810, which shall be 22-gauge steel with a black powder epoxy finish, undercoated to eliminate acoustic and mechanical resonance. It shall have a 12" diameter with 10.06 in. depth. The backbox shall feature an extended grille mounting flange, four 0.5–0.75 in. compound knockouts for conduit, four 0.5 in. knockouts for wire, and 1.5 in. thick acoustic lining.
