The DUO-35 is a volume-controlled water softener for the removal of carbonate and magnesium hardness. The duplex design of the system, which switches from one ion exchange cartridge to the other shortly before saturation of the ion exchange resin between two ion exchange cartridges filled with ion exchange resin, ensures continuous soft water production.
The control head can be equipped with different hardness disks according to the hardness of the inlet water. By using different hardness disks, the water softener can be used for water hardness up to 56 °dH.
