The E-flite® Extra 330SC 3D 1.3m is a replica of Jim's airplane that features his unique and iconic trim scheme. It's an updated and upgraded version of the Extra 300 3D 1.3m that delivers unbelievable sport flying, aerobatic, and 3D capabilities for intermediate to experienced pilots. It features digital, metal-geared servos, plus a 3S and 4S compatible power system now including an 85A Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC. The BNF Basic version is also equipped with an AR631 receiver to deliver real-time telemetry data along with AS3X and SAFE Select technologies that make it even easier to fly!

The E-flite Extra 330SC 3D 1.3m offers nearly unlimited aerobatic and 3D performance potential – even beyond that of the full-scale design! It's a replica of the airplane that Jim Bourke flies in airshows and competitions around the world, including his unique and highly visible trim scheme. It's also an updated and upgraded version of the Extra 300 3D 1.3m that features a larger hatch and opening with plastic edges to eliminate paint chipping when more easily installing/removing 3S or 4S 2200mAh to 3200mAh batteries. The strengthened motor mount better secures the brushless outrunner motor that's equipped with a lightweight wooden propeller to deliver outstanding thrust and vertical performance, along with extremely crisp throttle response thanks to the upgraded 85-amp Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC. Its fully molded EPO airframe is composite reinforced for an outstanding blend of rigidity and durability while also being as lightweight as possible. And the wire landing gear has been replaced with much stronger aluminum gear to make it even more durable! Plus, fast and precise factory-installed digital, metal-geared servos with ball-link equipped linkages drive the oversized control surfaces to deliver incredible 3D and precision flight capabilities. Skill Level 3 aircraft, like this one, are suitable for more experienced RC pilots who already have the skills to assemble, set up, and fly similar class models. This PNP version requires more experience and skills to assemble and fly than the BNF Basic version because you will need to install a receiver that does not already include properly tuned AS3X and SAFE Select technologies. It's not a suitable first-ever RC aircraft for new pilots or “next step after a trainer” model for low-time pilots. You should have the experience and skills necessary to successfully fly other aerobatic capable models like the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.1m, Timber X 1.2m, Decathlon RJG 1.2m, Commander mPd 1.4m, or other similar models before attempting to fly the Extra 330SC 3D 1.3m.
