Wunderlich AKTIVKOMFORT seat for the XR

We manufacture our seats with a distinctive ergonomic 3D contour that unites rider and passenger with their BMW motorcycle. The form and tilt of the elaborately shaped core promote a naturally ergonomic pelvis position. This integration enables relaxed and active riding – which significantly enhances active safety. With ThermoPro, seat temperatures are up to 25°C lower in direct summer sun compared to conventional materials.

Because rider and passenger have different needs, Wunderlich – BMW specialist – designs AKTIVKOMFORT seats with tailored contours for each. While the ergonomic 3D contour is standard across both, the fine details are adapted to meet each position’s specific ergonomic demands.

For all Wunderlich AKTIVKOMFORT seats:
Thanks to their intelligent design, sagging is reliably prevented. Pressure is evenly distributed, noticeably reducing specific load on the seat area. The ergonomic foam shape also relieves pressure on the coccyx. These seats provide perfect grip and confident control, especially under hard braking – no more being pushed forward by the pillion! Wunderlich’s specially developed support contour eliminates these stressful moments. And: no more pressure on the inner thighs when stopping at traffic lights!

In this way, riding becomes relaxed and active – and relaxed riding creates a decisive advantage in active safety.
