Tillingham’s English DNA is rooted in experimentation, from the varieties of grapes planted to the vessels used and the styles of wine produced over the years. Fermented in Georgian Qvevri, this is an aromatic yet elegant Ortega. It has a bouquet of floral bergamot and spice aromas, followed by a satisfying delicate smoky texture from the clay on the palate. The palate reveals a very subtle touch of oxidative character from flor ageing, with hints of white peach and lychee with orange peel. A serious, complex and textured wine, with less than 1000 bottles produced. Serve with charcuterie or spicy dishes, or gift to a wine lover.
