Utilizing VMP’s latest patent-pending inlet port technology and Eaton’s 2.65 L TVS rotors, the VMP Gen3R is the most powerful and efficient blower VMP offers. Able to produce amazing horsepower and torque numbers, the VMP Gen3R has all new casting, patent-pending port geometry, a smoother airflow path into the rotors, and utilizes the stock GT500 throttle-body bolt pattern for an improved short-turn radius over the VMP Gen3 supercharger.

The VMP Gen3R is so efficient and powerful, that a 2.8” pulley with a stock crankshaft pulley is the limit of 93 octane unless otherwise consulted.

To ensure your GT500 runs at peak performance, with the installation of this kit, VMP is the only supercharger company to offer a tune with kit purchase.

Extra horsepower demands more fuel. The VMP GT500 kit will require either fuel pump voltage boosters or a return style fuel system.

Tunes included with supercharger kits

Revisions to the complimentary custom tune included with VMP's supercharger kits are included with the purchase of the supercharger kit. This included tune is intended for use with the supercharger kit as supplied. Any modifications to the kit require a new tune purchase.

The complimentary tune file must be redeemed within 6 months of the purchase of the supercharger kit

If you plan to use the VMP tune file, we recommend filling out the tune order form before the installation process is started.

The complimentary tune file does not include tuning for kits installed on the GT350 vehicles

 WHAT TO DO TO GET STARTED:

Requesting a VMP email tune is as easy as obtaining a supported tuning device for your vehicle, purchasing the tuning product or package, and letting us know of your vehicle modifications!  
Below are the exact steps on to how to receive your custom calibration:

1. Purchase this supercharger kit along with necessary SCT X4 Tuning Device.
2. Fill out the VMP Tune Order form with your vehicle’s information and a list of your current modifications/requests

That’s it! Once the form is submitted, an email chain will be created with the email address provided in the form. A VMP calibrator will be in contact to help you every step of the way!

 DATALOGGING & DIAGNOSTICS: 

VMP is happy to work with customers to address any concerns they may have. Limited datalogging support is available for up to 6 months after you've received your initial tune file(s). 
This service allows the calibrator to provide insight into your vehicle's performance and diagnose any potential issues caused by mechanical failures or installation errors.

 CUSTOM TUNE UPDATES & REVISIONS: 

Custom tune updates for new modifications/fuels are available to current* VMP tuning customers. 
*Current means same vehicle, same owner, and still within the tuning support time frame window* 
 

We highly recommend reaching out to your calibrator to verify your new modification is supported by VMP Tuning, and to also find out the cost associated with updating your tune file for the new modification/fuel.
