  WideRight profiles provide the optimal volume without distorting the tread pattern or the side knobs so each part of the tire is in the correct position for rolling and cornering, allowing for maximum traction and control as well as offering minimal rolling resistance. Proper tire profiles not only allow for optimal tire performance but also allow the tire to do its secondary job of protecting the rim as well as the tire's sidewall. A flat or bell-shaped tire profile leaves the tire exposed to sidewall cuts and creates undue chances for rim damage.
