This is one of the heaviest bearing varieties  currently available.

This large dome shaped evergreen tree is in later threading tree that Produces bright red fruit and can get up to 70 g in pride conditions. The fruit has extended holding times whilst on the tree. When first planted like all lychee trees it doesn’t need any fertiliser. Mulch is recommended in the form of hay or sugar cane mulch and daily watering is recommended for the first two years. It is very important to keep lychees moist at all times especially when they are flowering or fruiting. 

plant in full sun in free draining soil in a site protected from strong wins. Soil must not be allowed to dry out after fruit has set. Fruit is produced on 3 to 4-year-old and heavy crops of up to 150 kg in 7 to 8 year old trees. Harvest February March and April climate permitting.
