The XeRun AXE Plus R3 is Hobbywing's complete FOC crawling system — available as ESC + motor combo, ESC only, or motor only to suit your build.
FOC technology delivers ultra-smooth throttle response and precise low-speed control — the foundation of serious rock crawling performance.
Fully sealed waterproof design on both the ESC and motor means the AXE Plus R3 handles rain, mud, and stream crossings without hesitation.
The 540L FOC motor is available in 1400KV, 2100KV, 2300KV, and 2800KV — covering a wide range of gearing and terrain preferences for 1/10 crawlers.
The 550 R2 3300KV FOC motor offers more torque in a longer 66.2mm can — ideal for heavier 1/10 and 1/8 scale crawler builds.
The AXE Plus R3 ESC comes with XT60 connector and supports 2–6S LiPo input, with a switch mode BEC outputting 6V/7.4V/8.4V at 6A for servo power.
FOC control delivers significantly smoother low-speed performance compared to traditional ESC systems — less cogging, more precise throttle, better rock crawling control.
Compatible with most popular 1/10–1/6 scale crawler platforms including Axial SCX10, Traxxas TRX-4, and other standard motor mount configurations.
The switchable BEC output (6V / 7.4V / 8.4V @ 6A) supports standard and high-voltage servos — no external BEC needed for most crawler builds.
Optional 150mm and 300mm sensor wire extensions are available for builds where the standard cable length doesn't reach — select from the options above.
Full combo package includes the AXE Plus R3 ESC, selected motor, sensor cable, and factory accessories — everything needed to upgrade your crawler's power system.
Important: The AXE Plus R3 ESC is only compatible with XERUN AXE R2 and R3 series motors. Do not use with other motor brands or models. Stop use if ESC or motor temperature becomes excessively hot.
