The PS-C4R is a metal rough-in bracket for 4-inch round Sonance Professional Series in-ceiling speakers, designed to be installed during new construction or major rework while the ceiling is still open. The bracket locates and protects the speaker cutout during drywall, paint, and finish work, and provides additional structural support for the speaker once the finished ceiling is in place.

Using a metal rough-in bracket, rather than installing the speaker directly into drywall later, reduces commissioning risk, keeps speaker locations aligned with the construction documents, and ensures the speaker is structurally supported in seismic and high-vibration environments. Supplied 6 each per pack so an installer can rough in an entire ceiling field from a single carton.
