The model 104 turn signal switch is deisgned to clamp to a 2-inch diamter steering column. It provides left/right momentary switches to a turn signal lights controller.

 It is fully compatible with the  Model 106 lights controller for a complete self-canceling turn signals solution for your classic or vintage car. 

For a switch that can clamp to a 1.5 to 2.25 inch steering column, consider the Model 105 turn signal switch.

The switch uses digital hall-effect sensors to detect the presence of a magnet mounted to the tip of the switch lever. When the magnet is moved close to one of the sensors, battery voltage is produced on the output. When the lever is released, it springs back to the center position and the output returns to 0 volts. Electronics are fully sealed in epoxy providing a tough weatherproof solid-state turn signal switch that can be used in wet locations, including high pressure spray washing, and has an IP68 rating. There are no mechanical switch contacts to wear or corrode. 

The lever knob is removable to allow for a custom knob to match your vehicle design. 

Model 104 outputs cannot provide enough power to drive lights directly.
The model 104 switch must be used with a lights controller.
