An incredibly rare and beautiful and desirable solid yellow gold antique French Souvenir sentiment engraved booklet holding three mine cut diamonds set within the blue enamel, hand painted Forget me not flowers.

The flowers are connected with expertly hand painted enamel green leaves. 

The enamel is all around in excellent condition. 

The booklet cover is engraved with Souvenir, which translates from French as "remember" or "memory”. 

The book locket opens to reveal a back cover section that holds space to hold a photo (or to keep the original gentleman pictured). 

The front section of the locket holds 2 individual, double sided, clean and all original pages - ready to be engraved with beloved words, names or stories of the heart. 

This is truly an incredibly rare treasure and she is in exceptional antique condition.  No gold marks, in keeping with the era, yet tests as 18ct gold gilded over a solid base of 14ct gold.
