Carta Roja 2006 Gran Reserva Jumilla Oak Aged Monastrell (13.5%) Red Wine 75cl

A wine traditionally crafted from the Monastrell grape, showing its signature full-bodied character, dark berry notes and velvety mouthfeel. Ageing in American oak barrels adds subtle spice and a touch of vanilla to compliment flavours of ripe blackberries, plum and dried red cherries. Whether enjoyed with a hearty Spanish dish or on its own, Carta Roja promises a taste of Spain in every glass.

This 2006 received bronze at the IWSC when new however through some additional aging, more of the oak character starts to come through the palate
