Description

The "Georg" gorget has an extraordinary cut. The long chest part extends far to the chest and closes the gap between the wide shoulders of the "Georg" series. It can be opened sideways and is secured with a cartridge pocket closure. With a belt, the gorget can also be attached to the cuirass of the "Georg" series. Ornamental beading and riveting can be found on all parts of the "Georg " series, so of course also on the gorget.

For all heavy armor with wide spaulders, this gorget is an ideal base. Together with the other armour parts of the "Georg" series, it forms a heavy but agile armor.
