This is the all new 550HP 1-piece shaft from DSS (well maybe not all new just re-instated) after carefully reviewing the needs of the GTO community we have realized the need for a lesser strength shaft that is not only a good value but still gives the car that athletic feeling only a single shaft can give. This shaft will be a 3.5" aluminum shaft with the smaller 1310 joint but will have the Performance Dynamic solid joint that will ensure strength and longevity of the drive train. Our shaft will also come with our signature Billet rear plate that ensures Balance correctness due to centering on the 16mm pin coming out of the diff (pin is ground with the diff bearing journals) the Plate now will have a set of Helicoils in the threaded portion of the plate to ensure you don’t strip out the thread.

The only necessary modification is the tip of the rear seatbelt bolt that protrudes into the driveshaft tunnel must be ground down to provide adequate clearance for the driveshaft.
