Short stems increase bike control when partnered with wide bars like the Rapidé PRO35 High Rize-R 780 Bars by increasing your leverage and reducing the force rocks and roots can exert on the front wheel. Moving your bars back with a shorter stem gives you a better center of gravity on your bike and lets you tackle steeper sections with confidence.

By increasing the bar bore to 35mm we have increased the stiffness of the bars for even better power transfer and control when used with 35mm clamp size bars like the new Rapidé PRO35 HighRizer 780 bar.

The Rapidé ControlColumn PRO35 60mm stem is 3D Forged from AL-6061-T6 alloy, making it light, strong and stiff. Available in a trail taming 60mm length with 35Ø bar clamp.
