The Stringer ships with the wood cone base and antique gold rings pre-assembled, plus the linen pleated shade packaged separately for safe shipping. Installation is just two steps: thread the shade onto the harp/finial fitment at the top of the base, then secure with the included finial. Once assembled, simply plug the 150 cm / 59″ cord into a standard wall outlet and use the inline push-button switch to turn on. No hardwiring required. Add an E26 / E27 bulb (not included) before plugging in.

One E26 / E27 screw-base bulb (LED or Edison; not included). E26 in North America, E27 in Europe. Warm-white LED at 2700K is recommended for the most flattering glow through the linen pleated shade.

The lamp is not dimmable — the inline push-button switch is on/off only. For adjustable warmth, consider a smart bulb (Hue, LIFX, or similar) with phone-app dimming and color-temperature control, independent of the lamp's switch.

Two base finishes (Wood color or Walnut color) and two shade colors (Beige or Brown linen) — typically paired:

Wood color base + Beige linen shade: the lighter, brighter combination — best for cream walls, oak floors, modern farmhouse and Scandi interiors.
Walnut color base + Brown linen shade: the deeper, warmer combination — best for darker rooms, traditional libraries, mid-century modern, and rooms with leather upholstery.

The antique gold metal rings remain consistent across both combinations, providing a unifying decorative accent.
