A swag light is a plug-in pendant that mounts to the ceiling using two hooks rather than a hardwired junction box. The cord drapes from one hook across to the other (the "swag"), then runs down the wall to a standard outlet — no electrician required.

The Disc Orb installs in three steps: (1) screw two ceiling hooks into joists or drywall anchors at your preferred swag distance, (2) drape the cord over both hooks, (3) plug into the wall outlet. The push-button switch on the cord controls on/off.

The fixture measures ∅ 9.8″ × H 8.7″ (Dia 25 × H 22 cm). The cord is 180 cm / 71″ as standard, with a push-button switch inline. Cord length is extendable on request — useful if your wall outlet is far from the ceiling hooks.

One G9 bi-pin bulb (LED or Edison; not included). For the most flattering glow through the frosted orb, we recommend warm-white G9 LED bulbs (2700K).

The on-cord push-button switch is not dimmable. If you need dimming, the swag installation isn't the right fit — consider a hardwired pendant with a wall dimmer instead.

The Disc Orb is ideal for renters, dorms, and rooms without ceiling junction boxes — the swag mount lets you add overhead lighting wherever there's a ceiling and a wall outlet nearby.

Best placements: living rooms (above a sofa or reading chair), dining rooms (centered above a table), bedsides (instead of a table lamp, freeing nightstand space), or breakfast nooks. Pairs especially well with mid-century, eclectic, vintage, and color-confident interiors — the six saturated finishes invite a more playful color choice than typical neutrals.
