The 1 Carat Princess Cut Floating Hidden Halo Diamond Ring is the synthesis of two of the most sophisticated setting architectures in our bridal collection — the floating bracket claw setting and the hidden halo — combined into a single ring that is simultaneously the most minimal and the most brilliant princess cut we make. The 1ct D-F colorless princess-cut lab-grown diamond is held by two L-shaped bracket claws on diagonally opposite corners, leaving the other two corners completely open — the floating setting that makes the stone appear to hover above the 2mm plain polished band. Beneath the girdle of the princess cut, a continuous hidden halo of round brilliant lab-grown diamonds is pavé-set into the base of the setting, their tables facing outward, creating a glowing ring of white fire that is invisible from above but fully revealed from the side and at every angle below. From above: a clean, geometric floating solitaire. From the side: a floating diamond above a glowing halo. From every other angle: something that rewards inspection at every degree of rotation.
The floating setting and the hidden halo are each sophisticated on their own. Together, they create a ring with three distinct visual identities depending on the angle of view. From directly above, the ring reads as a clean floating solitaire: the full square face of the D-F princess cut, the two slim L-bracket claws on opposite corners, the two open corners, the plain 2mm band below. From the side, the hidden halo is revealed: a continuous ring of round brilliant diamonds glowing beneath the girdle of the princess cut, their light filling the space between the floating stone and the band. From a 45-degree angle — the angle at which the ring is most often seen on the finger — both elements are visible simultaneously: the floating stone above, the glowing halo beneath it, the plain band below. This three-angle visual complexity is what distinguishes the Floating Hidden Halo Princess from every other princess cut ring in our collection.
The Floating Princess (without hidden halo) is the purest expression of the bracket claw architecture — maximum diamond exposure, minimum metal, clean from every angle. The Floating Hidden Halo Princess adds the hidden halo beneath the girdle, introducing a second layer of brilliance that is invisible from above but transforms the side and angled profile of the ring. Both rings share the same floating bracket claw setting and the same 2mm plain band; the hidden halo is the single addition that changes the ring's character from architectural minimalism to architectural brilliance.
D, E, and F are the three grades in the colorless range of the GIA diamond color scale — the highest grades available. In the Floating Hidden Halo Princess, the D-F color grade applies to both the 1ct princess cut center stone and the round brilliant hidden halo diamonds, ensuring a consistent, matched field of colorless white fire from the floating center stone to the last pavé diamond in the halo beneath it.
The 2mm plain band sits flush against most wedding bands. The hidden halo adds slight additional height to the setting profile compared to the plain floating ring, so a slim flat-profile wedding band — plain gold or thin diamond eternity — pairs best. In white gold, the D-F colorless diamonds in both the center stone and the hidden halo create a continuous field of icy white brilliance. In yellow gold, the warm metal gives the colorless princess cut a rich editorial contrast while the hidden halo glows warm gold from the side. In rose gold, the blush metal softens the geometric bracket claws and gives the hidden halo a romantic warmth that is completely its own.
The 1 Carat Princess Cut Floating Hidden Halo Diamond Ring is the ideal proposal ring for those who want the architectural precision of the floating bracket claw setting with the added brilliance and depth of a hidden halo — a ring that is simultaneously the most minimal and the most brilliant princess cut in our collection.
In our Queens atelier, the Floating Hidden Halo Princess was designed as the answer to a specific question: what happens when you add a hidden halo to a floating setting? The floating setting already creates a ring that appears to have less metal than any other setting we make. The hidden halo adds brilliance in the one place where the floating setting has none — beneath the girdle, in the space between the floating stone and the band. The result is a ring that is more than the sum of its two setting architectures: a ring that is minimal from above and brilliant from every other angle.
