The Ghiaccio measures ∅ 17.7″ × H 12.6″ (Dia 45 cm × H 32 cm). A statement-scale fixture suited for foyers, dining rooms, lofty living rooms, and hospitality spaces where a sculptural ceiling element can serve as a focal point.

Ghiaccio is the Italian word for "ice." The fixture is named for its sculptural glass elements, which are shaped by hand to evoke the natural irregularity of frozen water and crystalline ice forms. Light refracts through the glass into a faceted, organic glow — never uniform, never the same twice.

This is a fixture designed to be looked at, not just looked through. It works as light sculpture during the day even when off, and as a luminous centerpiece when illuminated.

The Ghiaccio uses 6 × E14 (or E12) small screw-base bulbs (LED or Edison). Use E14 in Europe and the UK; E12 in North America. These are smaller than the more common E26/E27 — purchase the correct base for your region. Bulbs are not included.

For the best aesthetic effect, we recommend warm-white LED candle or globe bulbs (2700K) — they refract beautifully through the hand-crafted glass.

The Ghiaccio is ceiling-mounted via a standard junction box and connects to a common wall switch (not included). Because of the size and weight of the hand-crafted glass elements, we recommend two people for installation — and an electrician unless you already have an existing junction box at your desired location.
