Native Spinach
Tetragonia tetragonioides

Warrigal Greens is a leafy green herb that grows in sunny to shady spots. They’ll tolerate somewhat poor soil, but do better when kept moist in a rich free draining, loam. It makes an excellent gap filler, ground cover or pot herb.

Use Warrigal Greens like you would English Spinach or
Bok Choy. Use in stir-frys in place of Asian greens, make
pesto or mix into omelettes. They're good in quiches or as
a side green leafy vegetable.
Like with spinach, the leaves are rich in oxalates, so should
be blanched or cooked before eating. Harvesf leaves as
regularly throughout the warm growing season to
encourage growth.
