The Rock Label whisky is also distilled using the discontinuous pot still process and then stored in the historic Rugen rock cellar. The seven-year-old whisky is characterized by its "Swiss Wood Finish" - at the end it is transferred to burnt barrels made of local oak, which help to refine the taste.

About Rugenbräu

Alcoholic beverages have been brewed and distilled in the Interlaken area since 1866. The mystical rock cellar was built a few years later specifically for barrel storage, and the business has been in the hands of the Hofweber family since 1892. It was not until 1999 that the brewery, now known as Rugenbräu AG, was allowed to produce whisky for the first time - and immediately took advantage of the new opportunity. In 2008, the first single malt whisky was presented, which is now known as "Classic" due to the extensive range.
