Not so gentle anymore now! The Tomintoul single casks are the finest examples of what this brand is capable of. The rest of their range is fantastic too but here we have even more of the purest form of what the company produces.

Tomintoul is a quiet dark horse of the Speyside region since they do not spend their time marketing or shouting from the rooftops, but rather just making damned good whisky! The savings are in turn passed onto the consumer as evidenced in the pricing of their products. We have tasted many of their single cask offerings & strongly recommend their offerings from a single cask.

This is a 22 Year Old Single Cask Oloroso at a hefty 55 percent strength.

Tasting Notes

Nose : Bold and nutty with aromas of fruit cake, rum & raisin ice cream, treacle, dried fruits and nutmeg spices

Palate : Wholesome notes of maple pecan pie, festive spices, dates, and figs bound with allspice & ginger biscuits

Finish : Oat & Raisin cookies, mixed with Oloroso Sherry & fruit cake fading to a walnut & sultana linger
