Some brooches, like this leopard, are too pretty to hide away in a drawer. So, I built this functional unmarked brooch a cave of painted driftwood where it can be admired all the time. A glacier of iridescent fibers and crystal beads is nestled in a giant abalone shell. The leopard claims it's pincushion, darker than the surrounding snow and surrounded by glow in the dark French knots. The painted snow flowing down the driftwood cave glows in the dark and so does the inside of the cave.
