Each bar is made from high-quality laminated pine wood, kiln-dried to 15% moisture content to minimize warping and maintain perfect alignment over time. The raised bead edge (kraalrand) prevents direct contact between the fabric and the frame, preserving your work and ensuring clean edges.

The bars connect easily using a traditional tongue-and-groove system, forming a stable frame that’s simple to assemble and perfectly square. Once your frame is ready, staple your tufting cloth or canvas around the edges for a professional, tight finish.
