Perhaps the most widely eaten grape and one of the older varieties of seedless grapes. Oblong shaped grapes, with a light green skin, very sweet and juicy with a high sugar content, with half as glucose, and half as fructose. Prefers hot dry climate free of humidity.
About this plant: grows 1 to 2 m, self pollinating, frost tolerant, lose its leaves in winter, full sun, well draining soil, grown from a cutting, grows well in warm temperate and arid climates, fruits in approximately two years, harvest months are February and March. Cut the vine right back each season after fruiting to encourage lots of new growth in the upcoming season.
