What is it? Our aftershave splashes form a classic and important part of your grooming practice. Hand made in small batches our beautifully scented formula lends its powerful astringent, anti-bacterial, moisturising and skin toning ability to help close pores and sooth the skin.

We use the finest denatured alcohol and marry that with generous amounts of soothing witch hazel extract and aloe vera juice to calm and cool the skin, post shave.

We then add a quantity of non-comedogenic (non-blocking) vegetable glycerine and sodium lactate in order to boost each bottles moisturising power. We decant each splash in to beautiful high grade frosted glass bottles and finish each one with hand applied vinyl (and waterproof) labels.

What does it smell of? Spitfire is a scent I designed around the olfactory memories I have of my Grandfather, who was himself a WW2 Veteran of North Africa and Italy. An avid pipe smoker my "Papa" had an almost tangible air of leather and tobacco that seemed to follow him wherever he went.

For Spitfire I've taken the sweet crispness of juniper and blended that with the freshness of bergamot, woodiness of cedarwood and laid all three on to a base of warming leather and rich tobacco.

Since its launch in 2016, Spitfire has established itself as one of our best sellers. An old fashioned and grounding scent this is something that is simultaneously classic and contemporary in its design.
