The Scratcher is a sampling lance specially designed for sampling cohesive, caking and non-flowing materials. A scraper edge on the collection chamber transports the sample material directly into a sealable inner tube, allowing professional sampling of even cohesive powders and granules. The scraper is ideal for target point sampling from a specific plane. Despite its effective scraping edge, it is suitable for use in narrow openings from 32mm diameter. Two additional handles allow for safe insertion, fixation and rotation in the material, and easy disassembly facilitates thorough cleaning.

The powder sampler scratcher is widely used in laboratories and industries where precise sampling of non-free-flowing, lumpy substances is required. This includes food, pharmaceutical, chemical and materials science where accurate and contamination free samples are essential. Different sizes allow sampling from big bags, drums, small containers and other storage vessels.
Turn the upper handle of the sampling lance clockwise.The sampler is closed and can be inserted into the medium to be sampled.At the desired depth, turn the upper handle on the sampling lance counterclockwise, the collection chamber is now open.Rotate the sampler through 360°. The sample is transported into the sample chamber through the scraping edge.Turn the upper handle of the sample lance clockwise. The collector is closed and can be removed from the powder/granulate.If necessary, close the puncture point on the container.Turn the sampler upside down and empty the sample through the open inner tube into a suitable collecting vessel.
