Pair of armchairs model H-227 designed by Jindřich Halabala for UP Závody Brno in Czechoslovakia during the 1930s. This model is a well-known example of interwar functionalist design with Art Deco influences.

The chairs feature solid wooden construction with distinctive bentwood armrests that form a continuous, flowing line. The seats and backrests have been newly upholstered in textile fabric, complementing the warm tone of the wood.

The pair has been renovated and remains in very good condition, with stable construction ready for use. The model is considered a characteristic piece of Czechoslovak modernist furniture and is offered as a matching pair.
