RELEASE DESCRIPTION

The film score to the 1978 b-movie cult sci-fi classic “The Alien Factor”. Synth film score composed by Kenneth Walker. Recorded on a paia synth, built by composer Kenneth Walker from a mail order kit and hand soldered together. Filters, oscillators, patch bays, the keyboard, etc. The music was built up note by note into chords and melody lines, using a 4-channel teac 3340s reel-to-reel tape deck. Overall a very laborious analog process, the final mix of the music had to be pre-thought-out and planned, so that it would all blend together.
