The PCE-VA 20 anemometer in a set with a volumetric flow hood is used to measure the flow velocity and volumetric flow rate in the area of ??ventilation and air-conditioning systems maintenance. In addition, the anemometer with the volumetric flow hood can measure climate parameters, such as temperature and humidity. From this, the meter calculates the dew point (DP) and the wet bulb temperature (WBT). All the measured and calculated parameters are displayed in the anemometer with the volumetric flow hood on the two-line LC-display. In the upper part, the flow velocity, humidity and the average value, in the mean value mode, are displayed. Depending on the measuring mode, the lower part of the display shows the temperature, volumetric flow, wet bulb temperature and the dew point. For a better and faster evaluation of the measured values, maximum, minimum and average measurements are also available for the user of the anemometer with the volumetric flow hood.

The anemometer is powered by four 1.5V AAA batteries. So, the anemometer with volume flow hood can be used as a mobile device. Besides anemometer, this measuring set is delivered also with 2 volumetric flow hoods, which can be put on the display unit directly. The volumetric flow hoods are suitable for measurements of the air mass at the round and square duct exits or inlets.
